Our "Wanderlust" Cabernet Sauvignon is an ode to the adventurous spirit, the intrepid traveller who journeys to our Coonawarra cellar door, captivated by both the region's history and its world-class Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine embodies the essence of exploration and discovery, not just of places but also of flavours and experiences. It's designed for those with tales to tell and an insatiable zest for life.

Organically grown in Koonara’s home block vineyards in Coonawarra. Inky in colour, pungent fruit aromas with a hint of cigar box tobacco adding to the complexity. Blackcurrant, black cherry, mulberry, and plum. Anticipate a cascade of chocolate, mint, blueberry, and tobacco. Aged exclusively in a combination of new and old 300L Hogsheads French Oak barrels. 

A wine this textured and complex calls for equally robust food pairings. Rosemary-smoked lamb cutlets come highly recommended, but it would be equally at home next to beef dishes, darker game meats, or braised red meat dishes. Complement it with firm cheeses for a luxurious experience.
