A deceptively attractive blend, taking an old school work-horse variety (Mataro) to pump up the volume on classic Clare Valley Shiraz. A modern take on Shiraz blends, this is classy, complex and finely crafted - 65% Shiraz and 35% Mataro.

Bright ruby red.

Aroma
Inviting, rich aromatics of dark cherry and plum fruits are set against a backdrop of subtle oak spice.

Palate
Soft and rich – there is a luscious element to this wine that belies it’s medium weight in the mouth. Clare Valley Shiraz offers up forest fruits and spice with dark plum notes that linger. The Mataro floats above with highlights of rose petal, new Italian leather and a subtle, attractive earthy edge.
